I’ve had a good scroll through the forum to see if I could find any fixes to my problem but unable to find any.
My AC is not working, I changed the AC rad three years ago as it had rotted out, went well for a year after having obviously new gas.
Then last summer it stopped working. I took it to the garage and they took out the gas and it seemed it was 50g light. The AC machine was a big new unit at a friends garage, it held pressure and seemed to have no leaks, so oil, dye and correct amount of gas was put back in, it has worked fine until last month where it has stopped working. Today I bought a STP gauge, gas and sealer from Halfords to what I thought would be a easy fix.
Well after putting the gauge on it showed it was still in the green so not really a pressure loss, the compressor sounds like it kicks in and the revs rise, but no cold air. Am I missing a simple fix like a sensor or fuse before I book it in to a garage.
Thank you in advance.

Just because the compressor appears to kick in, it doesn't mean its working as the clutches are problematic.

Gonna be looking at my ac tomorrow as wont heat, runs fine in summer for cooling.. if you are trying to run in cooling this time of year car may be to cold for it to work as temp sensor is inside car on the dash. I never trust any gauges unless on the high  and low sides and manifold type, pressures should raise and lower when fan kicks in unless a lwb like mine which has no fans. Will let you know what i find out tomorrow.
