Hi all

Starting to get some issues with my shogun, rather hard to put into gear. reverse is a pain and other gears feel like its tight, happens with the engine on and off.
any clue?
New clutch was installed over a year ago, however as it does it with the engine off, I assume this has nothing to do with the clutch.  Manual 3.2did 2005

Experts welcome Smile

all the best
Rob

Hi Bud,

Not sure, however looking at external pics they look different, funny you should say that though guy i spoke with yesterday said the same thing.
I was wondering if the box had some sort of servo sensor or something that could be going, unable to locate any pdfs for it,
the haynes manual is utter *beep*

I looked around the interwebs and 1999-2007 had them fitted  Shocked .but not much else about them .it does have a ecu control uint ..so not so much manual  Laughing .I ,d check the clutch is working slave cyd also by eye... if fitted Question It would be a rare thing having the box fail so completely so i,d looking if all else fails maybe get a scan tool to pull codes if any.I had a mk2 with a manual box 2nd and 4th grinded a bit but it was a good solid box never failed like this.

They were designed as autos from the start then fited manuals as an afterthought to appease certain markets. Have you checked the gearstick bushings as they wear and cause similar issues, they are cheap and easy to do and return the bearstick to new.
