This started Friday night when said lights came on
and i didn't go out in it yesterday.
I went out this morning lights were off but came back on again after afew minutes.
Is there anyway of finding the fault, I know it could be numerous causes
Is there anyway to narrow this down.
I'm off for a week now so i have some time on my hands....

Evening all fault update, I've tested all the sensors this evening and this is what I have found,
N/S REAR 12.28 OHMS
O/S REAR 11.68 OMHS
O/S FRONT 11.80 OHMS
N/S FRONT 914/41 OHMS this reading was all over the place and would stay still were as the other where a solid constant reading.
To me its looking like the N/S FRONT is a fault.

In a word, YES, you won't have ABS or traction control so be careful. |

Thanks Assassin just needed to make sure. Going to order a sensor today for what the cost is and hopefully my fault finding is right.
Will update again when the sensor is replaced.

Morning all, so I have changed the ABS sensor for the new one with a ohms reading of 1105 is it right the the voltage coming down to the sensor be around 1.5 to 5 Vdc from the ecu I had
2.5 v
I had the fault cleared at the local garage but it has come back on again with the same fault I'm a bit stuck now.
Any of you guys point me in the right direction of what I should do next.
Thanks Mick. |

Did you check the reluctor ring isn't corroded or cracked? I had that on another vehicle some years ago and it wasn't too obvious until the ring was thoroughly cleaned. I then spotted that the ring could rotate on the hub slightly due to the crack. |

Thanks for everybody's input and getting me there.
Cheers Mick. |
