Mine's done this for years, I've read dozens of posts and tried all sorts yet still it persists sometimes it doesn't rankle, others it just drives me crazy.  Mad if anyone ever figures out what causes it and how to fix it please post

You will always get a bit of up and down.
You need to take battery lead off for about a hour or hold negative to postive making sure both batteries are disconnected.
This makes the coin cell in the ecu go flat quicker.
You need working aircon to do the idle relearn.
Also these do not like the egr blanked off.
The ecu checks with the map sensor to see if  manifold pressure drops.
Have you chacked your butterflies and cleaned housing.
Sometimes I find with egr blocked off the engine light comes on at 3000rpm.
Its important your pipes are ok to manifold butterflies and egr.
The tps sensor does give agro you can adjust it but only a smidge.
