Hi new owner here...must be mad  Very Happy

New to the Pajero Evo, but having trouble engaging 4 wheel drive. Just purchased it and trying to get to know vehicle better. 2wd engages and lights up. But for the live of me I'm unable to select 4wd.
Gone through hand book etc followed instructions but she just doesn't want to engage.
Cars been sat for 4 years 116k on 97 plate. Probably in need of a fluid and filter change in box but of still expected it to engage.
Any help would be great.... give me a mitsubishi GTO and I can do most things on those. But fancied a change since getting older the old knees and back need a rest.
Cheers Colin

there is an actuator that engages the 4X4 on the front diff. it works on a vacuum system, most will be giving problems now, so this is most likely your problem
