Hi all,

My brother has a 2002 LWB Shogun 3.2.   Done about 200k,  had a new pump 100K ago.     Currently the truck will start up and run perfectly for about 15 mins then the engine would act like its straved of fuel i.e. no power,  doesnt accelerate, stalls.   if left alone for 30 mins it goes back to normal again.

just read the engine codes and was hopefully some of you more wiser dudes could offer some help on what the issue is

26   control sleeve position sensor system
48   ge actuator  (in middle of control sleeve position sensor inoperative) system
51  exhaust gas recirculation (egr)  valve position sensor system

At the moment the belief is the pump is toast and due to age of truck / price of new pump that would mean the truck is scrapped.  However if its something else then the truck would live on Smile

Can any of you guys help ??  suggestions ??

Simon

I have almost the same issues with my car; 2011 3.2 Did. Bit I don't get any fault codes.

I seems that the fault occur when the engine temperature is about to reach "normal". It happens every morning; when the engine has gone back to normal it stays that way during the day; despite several stops during the day.

No warning lights is visible on the instrument panel.

I have cleaned the EGS-valve without any luck. The spring in the EGS-valve seemed at bit weak, but I don't know have strong the spring is supposed to by.

Any suggestions for a solution is highly appreciated.

Regards
Lars
