Yeah, until I get a VW T5 custom van... I use it mainly to do my wife's market stall and her shows. |

VW van on the way, both others up for sale in the usual places...
I have loved my Mitsis, but when I get another 4x4 I shall try something else, either a Suzuki Samurai or a German army Wolf (G class Merc soft top Milspec).
It's been fun, but goodbye and thanks for all the fish! |

Just an FYI this thread is 9 years old, I was actually gonna ask him the specs on his wheels (offset in particular) 🤣
Heads up tho, be extra careful about center bore on Tuff Torque wheels. 110mm opening fits fine, but they apparently also have a 108mm (or thereabous) option that does NOT clear the front wheel hubs (and I'm suspecting the rear axle flanges as well) on a Mk2 Mitsy. Naturally I know this because that's exactly what I ended up with somehow despite being assured by the folks at 4x4Tyres that what I'm buying off their eBay store will fit my Mk2, well yes the studs did line up properly but that alone does me little good if I can't get the wheels over the hubs! But I already had tires mounted and wheels painted in different color, so I just opened up the center holes myself - they now fit fine, but balancing the next set of tires on these wheels may prove a challenge 🤣 |
