So the tricky thing is I want them to fit in the opening of my bumpers center section, I can go as wide as I want to but height-wise I'm limited to only about 3". I can easily fit a 20"-wide LED light bar there, but those tend to be low-quality unless you spend a lot of money on them which I don't want to do. A pair of decent 55W halogens will work just fine for my needs,  but I'm having a hell of a hard time finding anything like that, those stupid LEDs seem to have taken over everything now. I can find larger halogen lights easy enough, but slim/lo-pro ones are proving quite difficult. Anyone got some suggestions?

Any luck finding one? Otherwise, I recommend going to 4wheelonline. Try asking their customer support for input.

Yes I did actually find something! They're factory auxiliary lights for some sort of Ford vehicle,  not sure what,  but they fit inside the Mk2 bumper perfectly! "SAE-F-93" is what they're marked with (if I recall the SAE codes that's a front fog light approved in 1993), here's what they look like:

Only one was available in the UK, cost me like 10 with shipping. The only other one I ever found listed on evilbay was back in the good ole USofA, in AZ or NV, and yes I did end up buying it and having it shipped with import fees and all that jazz. They're currently both sitting on a countertop in my utility room, I have switched jobs and now very rarely drive the car truck, so I haven't messed with installing them just yet. Might do it over my Xmas vacation days tho, if it ain't too cold 😂
