hi guys
driving around town gearbox seems fine but i do alot of motorway miles too when i hit the motorway and get up into overdrive the car seems to go up and down the gears quite alot dont know if this is normal or i need to adjust the kickdown when in o/d as soon as touch the gas pedal it starts changing up and gears anyone else had this problem with theres dont if it could need a fluid change or kick down adjustment cheers guys

O/D kicks in at 42 mph , if you are doing 60 and its bouncing , check the connection to front sensor of 3 just under the rad top hose on engine is tight

hi dan thanks for that ill have a look this weekend ill let you know what i find i know on one of the other pajeros i had i had a problem with od if i rememeber rightly its a blue and white wire under there

when mine did that it was the kickdown cable, you need to slacken it off

cheers emax i will its mot time now so got loads of bits to do on but will post any pics want to change the fluid in the gearbox too
