Hi Guys,

This has probably been asked and answered before but I was wondering whether it’s possible to swap the upper rear lights for ones that actually have brake, tail, and indicators? Currently my brake, tail and indicators are in the bumper and they aren’t always the most visible when I’m indicating.

Would they be plug and play?

Thanks,
Reece.

You can, with a little bit of soldering, make the body mounted lights work, but you must also keep the lights in the bumper working for legal reasons - the reason the lights are i  the bumper is that if they just used the body mounted lights & open your rear door, you will in effect become a motorbike as the spare covers the drivers side rear light, hence the need for a set in the bumper.
I have rewired mine so both sets work. Not a hard job to do, & its legal. Needed to buy  a couple of bulb holders for the upper indicators & yellow bulbs, but was all done in a couple.of hours
