Hi,can anyone give me some advice on which oil I can safely use to top up my gearbox.Shogun 2003,3.2 Did.lwb
I developed a leak and after fixing it,I was sold some oil which is from granville in UK.
I contacted them and they said I needed ATF.MV.
Shop has not got that but they sold me Total Fluidmatic MVLV saying this ok.
I have millers in,but they do not sell this here.
I think I have lost about a litre as it is running but takes its time to engage.
Any help will be grateful as I am setting off back to UK and do not want to risk wrong oil.
Tia.

I have that oil in already. The trouble is I am in Bulgaria and I cannot source this oil here.It is just showing on the tip of the oil stick and presume I am short by a litre. The shop has sold me Total Fluidmatic MVLV as suitable oil.Tried different shops they all give different oils.As a last choice can I use this?.Tia |

If it meets the specification of Dia Queen SP III or higher it will be fine as it is all backwards compatible. |
