My rear wheel came off last night and has bent several of the studs. Firstly can anyone tell me what size the standard ones are? It's a 2005 Shogun Sport 2.5 diesel. Secondly if I replace all wheels with longer studs can I fit wider spacers, if so what size studs are favourite?

Find your exact model on megazip.net and look at the Rear Axle parts diagram to get the part number, then research that number.

For example, here's one such for a Sport but it may not be your model version:

https://www.megazip.net/zapchasti-dlya-avtomobilej/mitsubishi/pajero-montero-sport-4376/k94w-10688/gnhpfr6-164962/rear-axle-housing-shaft-1881659#/il-43193301-4762995-4762995

There, the bolts are 33302 which is MB584750. Searching on that then leads to sites like:

https://www.buycarparts.co.uk/febest/8641093

Where the length is stated as 48.5mm on M12 x 1.5mm

Never recommend wheel spacers as they overload wheel bearings, have a tendancy to come loose and can overload the suspension bound rates.
