Hi people, i have an issue with my 2005 3.2 auto, stsrted it this morning no issue, tried again it would not start no click nothing, battery a year old no issue there, thought it may be starter, hit it a few times no joy there, ended up calling recovery, he tried the starter hit it no joy again, he then said put it neutral and try that, which worked, when in park it wont start, he thinks it may be a switch, anyone else had similar issue, i have to force it in park with some force for it to start, any ideas welcome and any links to buy the switch if i can get one that is  thanks for reading

Update, i ordered a new inhibitor switch, i had a friend install it, it got worse, wouldnt start in park or neutral at first, got it going, only had reverse, no drive at all, took new one off put the old one back on, started in park and had drive, i think New switch may have been faulty, anyone else had similar issue, the switch whuch looks like a pizza slice was mucky but no real faulty wiring unless its inside the sealed part, seems to ok but i dont want to be stuck somewhere, can someone guide me to let me know im on the right track and this is the part that is faulty or could it be another switch of some type, thanks for reading
