Has anyone successfully managed to take a feed off the boot courtesy
lamp to power low wattage aux lamps?

2019 Shogun/Paj sport.

2 wires into the lamp and a screw to earth.
I’ve 2 12w lamps fitted to the boot lid and tried to
add so they come on off with the doors and off when locking.
One cable will be perm live and the other timer lived from ECU.
Sounds simple but can only get the perm live to switch new lamps on.
Even tried a cable from the bulb but that doesn’t work !
