Hi sorry maybe a silly question , but my front diff has gone on my pajero mk2 auto is there anyway it can be disconnected so it’s just rear wheel drive ? Been sat a while and miss driving it ,  Thanks

You could look into removing the front propshaft, but keep in mind, running it as rear-wheel drive might mess with the transmission long term.
