There appears to be several areas of faults with the current L200s.
Engine electronics, electric windows either not cutting out for trapped fingers or such like or dropping the glass into the doors and requiring doors to be taken apart to repair and some of the paint finish appears patchy....
I have been approached by numerous L200 owners when they seen mine (1993 L200 Strada double cab, 2.5TD, A/C, electric mirrors, windows) very similar spec to a Pajero of the same age - Made in Japan - no engine electronics
A couple of weeks ago at the NEC CV show I was having this coversation with a Mitsubishi salesman - he didnt appear to know that the Model is now assembled in Thailand - I think this is where alot of the L200 problems originate from - poor quality control at the Thailand factory. So no matter now they get into the country there does appear to be faults coomon to all. Cant be all that bad - top selling doublecab pickup in UK.
