drive the car untill upto running temp jack up rear of car and you will see 2 nuts on rear diff remove lower nut and drain oil whilst it is still warm to hotish this helps to get all the oil out lower car to get rest of oil out then jack it up on the left and you will see more oil come out then the same with the right after all oil is out then refit lower nut with new copper washer then remove the higher nut of the two and get your bottle of diff oil and refill through the hole the rear diff hold approx 2.5 litres of oil fill the diff untill the oil starts to trickle out of the hole whilst the car is on the floor being on a level surface refitt nut with new copper washer job done take about 20 mins to do the front diff is the same process but you have to remove the sump guard to get to it

oil required in mine was 80w/90 differencal oil i got mine from halfords about £5.00 a litre but please please refer to mitsi for your oil code as some have lsd and require speical oil other wise damage will result if your unsure consult mitsi diff oil is to be changed at 12,000 mile or one year intervals acording to the haynes manual but this need to be done more regular if you offroad especaily in water as this enters the diff through the breather see pic below for referance

sorry about the detail on pic but im sure you get the idea
