Hi

Has anyone fitted a towbar to an L300 Delica? If so is it the same as an L300 SWB Van????

Also what are the correct tyre pressures?

Talked to my Local Trailer Specialist before Xmas
The Delica has a particular type of towbar that is different to the L300 one
They quoted me about £200 for the bar/bracketry + tow ball + single electrics fitting kit.
Was a bit rich for me just before Xmas
BUT expect to get this in the next couple of months
I'll post images once I do

Glad someone knows the correct tyre pressures
I thought mine where a bit LOW!!! (had them at 26)
Thought it felt good for sand!!!!!

Shep..any idea on the price of the Delica Towbar from the compnay in St Albans?
Also what does it look like?
Seen some on L300 vans around with towbars fitted that are fabricated from what can only be described as 'angle iron'
Don't REALLY want something that ugly on the back of our Mitsu
Any idea what fits a Delica?

I ordered a PCM42 bar from Watlings, it arrived the next morning - which was nice. 1 1/2 hours to bolt the bracketry into position.

just for completeness:

Delica L300 (pre 94ish) PCM42
Delica L400 (new model) PCM44

Hello,

For an 89 Delica, how does the towbar fit in with the spare tire underneath? Does it get in the way?

Thanks,
Scott

I think the firms called Chester Towbar & Trailer center tel. 01244 324034/324035 I went to them for a tow bar ( though havent had one fitted yet) cost arround £280 depending on if you want it for just a trailer or caravaning, and they said no-trouble fitting one, seems they've done a few Delica's b4.

dont know about how it affects the spare, though I have seen another Delica in my area were the spares fitted on the front of it, looked ok so if anyone knows where to get one i'd be greatfull Smile

Wilf, thanks for the info. I imagine a towbar will fit with the spare, but might cause a headache getting the spare out when you need it.
