Had the car 6 hours now and decided to turn the radio on. Playing with the fade / balance button I discovered that I only have proper sound from the driver's door speaker and a faint whisper from the passenger door speaker, while getting nothing from the back speakers. Anyone got a clue as to the likely problem Question I can't seem to find a thread on this with the search facility (or am I just being thick Embarassed )

Hi there

More than likely you have
a blown speaker.

Even if there is still noise out
of the speaker can still be blown.

I could be wrong!

Derek.

The back speakers are a night mare to get to. You might be better off chasing up the garage from which you bought it (if that is where you got it) to get it done under warranty. You have to remove a lot of panels to ge tto them.
There a few posts on here for replacing the speakers and they describe the strip down required. Is your a lwb or a swb ?

The only thing aboput a warranty repair job is will the grage be as delicate as you would removing door panles !!

Cheers Dec,

I took my lwb back to the garage (Riverdale Motors, East Peckham) and they found that the radio itself had loose connections so they swapped it for a new one on the spot - no charge Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
