ok i think im going to buy some maps of derbyshire & nottinghamshire for green laning but wanted to know which ones are the best, clear & will be upto date & what size as i will be cutting up & laminating them thanx for any replies

Best one we use is roger dard, he aint got us lost yet and he's taken us down some really good lanes Wink

I have OL 1 and 24 for Derbyshire. I bought em' from WH Smiths.
OL 1 is Peak Distict - Dark Peak Area.
OL 24 is Peak Distict - White Peak Area.
Have a look at this link, click OS Explorer Maps then click on the areas and have a scroll round to see if its got what you want.

thats cos i dont navigate Wink

i find the OS explorer maps best they have more detail and are larger scale than the landranger maps, if you find some dont forget to confirm their vehicle access status with the ROW officer....then show us where they are Wink
