|

Hi all, i've recently purchased a pajero junior zr II auto on import, and the rev counter is high on it when it changes gear, for example it won't change to second gear until it reaches 5000 revs/min on the rev counter, so i took it back to the dealership an they took it to the mitsubishi garages,an lowered it to a still high 4800revs/min-ish before a gear is changed, can anyone please tell me whether this is normal? and also if not then how can it be fixed to be normal, because i thought it would just change gear at about 3000 or 4000 revs/min as opposed to 5000revs/min, if it is a problem, does anyone know how to fix it?
Thank you

hi,the garage opened up the auto gearbox and claims theres no problem with it. he now thinks it might be an electrical fault, so if the gearbox has an electrical fault, is it easy to maintain an to find parts to fix for it? and also does anyone know if it is an electrical fault, why it occurs and whereabouts does it occur?
Thankyou |

Hi, I've recently bought a Jnr ZR II auto. The box changes up at around 3,000 rpm and the change is very smooth. Quite where you tackle the eletrical mechanism I don't know. Let me know how you get on.
How's yours for fuel consumption? Mine does 32-36mpg at best and about 28-30 at worst. Any ideas on tweeking it? I've thought of putting in v-groove electrode spark plugs or split electrode and a Carbonflo or Broquet fuel catalyst.
Cheers
