Morning all from the freezing Loire Valley in France!!!

Well the time has come to put some new boots on my 2002 3.2 d.i.d (bestest motor I've ever owned!!) and I have fitted Michelin Synchrone 265-70R16 but because we get deep snow here it has been suggested that maybe the Goodrich A.T. tyres are a better bet. Has any one got any opinions on either??? the price is a consideration as tyres here can be 50% more, here's an example Michelins from the UK fitted 102 quid each, here 219.50 euros each fitted. Or is there an alternative from another manufacturer that has been tried and tested and gives good longevity and roadholding. I've already stuffed the Mitsi into a ditch because of snow in January this year with damage to the tune of 7k so I want to avoid doing that again!!! any idea's or suggestions really appreciated, and thanks for your time.

Merci Beaucoup Mrsgrumpy

A great help those reviews, just realised that if I change tyre type to BFG then I will have to buy five as the spare is a Michelin, better go and speak to the bank damager, gulp, in fact double gulp!!!!!!!!
