I am travelling down from the TOON (Newcastle upon Tyne) on Thursday 10/05/07, I have a Sat Nav but this doesn't have "Local Knowledge", so if you have any suggestions,recommendations which my Sat nav does not take into account pleae feel free to offer guidance.

I will leaving Newastle about 10:00am and not in any hurry (Stopping in Holiday Inn
GUILDFORD
EGERTON ROAD
GUILDFORD, GU2 7XZ)

I will be leaving Bisley around 3pm and heading back Norf !
It has been suggested that I try and avoid M1  ???
