Correct me if I'm wrong (sometimes), the point of a spring is to return it to its original position? (Well all the springs on my printing machine do that). On an ashtray I guess it should be sprung to be closed to hide the ash etc. Just tell her you are helping her cut down |

Should put this in top tips really but here goes anyway............
On the drivers door she will find a button to press this will open the window just enough to flick ash out, thus saving her the trouble of ash blowing out of ashtray. She can then put butt(cigarette not her fat butt) into ashtray without the lid staying up and making the car smelly
Even better pack in the smokes(as I intend to do one day) then no need for ashtray or window opening

My last one had a spring which kept it open, which was handy cos that's where I keep my phone. One I have now hasn't got one so it shuts every time the phone is taken out, which is a minor thing but still a pain. |
