Just taken my bullbar off to reveal a pitted chrome bumper. What I'd like to do is de-chrome it and paint it black. Just wondering what the best way is to take off the chrome and prepare it for painting? I've got an angle grinder if this will help  Twisted Evil

I'm also wondering if the whole bumper comes off in one piece, including the plastic bits that wrap around the sides. Or does the central chromed bit drop out on its own?
