I've had the auto e-mail back and a personal one stating that they were contacting the factory.  What have you had?

I sent an email enquiry via the Mistubishi website and got a response from Amanda Gibson at Mitsu UK Customer Relations within 2 days. She phoned me and said it would take 7 days for a response from Japan factory to come through. Low and behold, 7 days later I got a response from her personally and details of my local Mitsu dealer (Guildford).

Spoke to them yesterday and they were incredibly helpful. Had no records for my car but asked me to drop by and they would have a look at it. Confirmed pitman arm hasn't been done. Technician also checked the thermostat for me when I enquired about temp gauge problem and he even re-set my compass even though I had no idea there was something wrong with it. Paj now booked in for pitman arm and they will replace thermostat for me at same time for just the cost of the part. Well chuffed. Thanks Mitsubishi Guildford (Court & Smith Ltd).

Can only suggest contacting Amanda Gibson/Mitsu Customer Relations - tel 01285 647774

Good luck!

It is slightly reassuring to see so many people remark about the good service from Mitsubishi dealers Smile

Hi guys,

You had any luck yet?

I used the link on 1st "Sticky" in this section to ask if any recalls outstanding, after a couple of standard e-mails and about 10 days received email confirming pitman arm needs doing.
Guess you've got the following info but just incase it helps:
Customer services advisor - Sharron Willsher
Email - CustomerRelations2@mistubishi-cars.co.uk
Tel no. - 01285 655777

My local garage in Plymouth seemed very helpful but didn't have the part in stock, so they're going to order it and call me back....

I've been told to make contact with my local dealer (Southgate Mitsubishi Southampton) and book it in.  They're looking at it on Thursday and doing the work if it requires doing.  They didn't tell me on the mail if it needs doing or not.

Ok, I've come away with the usual feelings after visiting any garage.

I took in a car that drove straight and had the steering wheel straight when driving.  I've now got a wheel that is at about 2 o'clock.  They've told me that I need to get the geometry checked, which kind of annoys me because I've taken a car in that they have admitted is faulty by virture of the recall and come out with another problem.

I think I'll write to Mitsubishi about it this evening.

I've had an exchange of e-mails with Mitsubishi and managed to come to a satisfactory conclusion.  They are still saying that the work they do doesn't require these sort of things to be sorted out.
