Hi rday,
The photo's you've got of that air filter are different to my '95 Delica Spacegear 2.8TD.
To make sure you get rhe right one ring Milners and give them your chassis number and they will get you the right one - I just had my new one delivered on Wednesday. £22.00.

Hey Sean, For 63 Australian dollars (approxGBP 25) and a bit of postage( its only light) you can get a Unifilter which lasts almost indefinitely. When they get dirty just wash and reoil. I just bought one for my Delica and it's great. If anyone in the club is interested here's the details :
"The unifilter is a reusable foam air filter. Instead of that big expensive and cumbersome metal caged monster you have now the Unifilter is layers of special foam impregnated with a very sticky oil. The dust collecting power is superior as is the airflow, hence more power. They are available to suit the Delica air box with the 4M40 motor online from www.uniflow.com.au for A$63.50. The model you want is ULT290S. That model wasn't on the website when I bought mine a couple of months ago but it might be now. You should be able to buy the sticky oil in NZ. I am sure Unifilter Australia would have NZ distributors. "
Cheers, Dean. |

Cheers for that Dean,
We have a sister company in Adelaide and my boss is out there at the moment, I'll see if he can bring one back with him next week.

A question for those of you in the UK:
Has anybody over here managed to buy a Unifilter for a reasonable price?
From the Unifilter website I see they have a distributor in the UK, but they deal primarily in Impreza's. They are called Scooby Mania http://www.scoobymania.com/ and I have sent them an email regarding filters for the Delica.

Hi Sean, I'm sure if you rang the UK distributor and asked him for a filter to suit the delica ( USING THE PART NUMBER ABOVE) they would get it for you or send Uniflow an email and see if you can get it direct. I was told by the manager when I bought mine that they primarily make them for the Japanese market. Cheers, Dean. |

Cheers Dean,
The guy at Scooby got back to me and said he only gets the ones for Subaru's.
I've just ordered a normal one for now from Milner Off Road. I can be doing with the hassle with waiting for imports at the moment.

Have you actually fitted one of these ?
I found the dimensions on the K&N website and they didn't seem to quite line up .............. |
