Arrived late on the Friday & was set up in 2mins. Thanks to John, Al & sid for the help.
Sat in the gazeebo while sid cooked me a cpl of burgers.
What more could you ask for........
Many thanks for sorting a cracking meet Jase & Maz, A real credit to you.
An honour to meet new & old members & a thoroughly great time was had.
I wasnt sure about going to the off road site, but decided to go & just plod about & take it easy. That lasted 5mins as i was stuck axel deep in a bog hole the bulldozer had to clear a path to reach us & drag us out. Pics to follow
This was on the bottom run that ive done many times before & granted, looked a little wet but nowhere near as deep as it turned out. Definitely a lesson in walking the route first.
Onan, this is the same run we did over & over that year, not a chance this time. lol.
Weather, food , drink & the company was all i could have asked for.
Another fantastic pocuk meet. |

You could be right there Steve
The fellas had the machine over to build a track for kids bike racing next week & had been through it before me & 20 ton of machine makes a bit of a hole.
He had to cut a track through the trees to get to me, this made a nice new track for later in the day |

Must be just coincidence that each of the trucks rescued by a bulldozer contained one of my kids
Or maybe it's not just me that they bring bad luck to

Had no time for that..............
TBH, i was annoyed about it. The spare was flat & our breakdown cover had expired
So i had to join the AA at the road side & be recovered to a tyre centre, have a new valve fitted.
Then continue up to blackpool ( i was on way to look at sumat) then had to find a 32x1150 tyre as the spare wasnt
It was fine to drive on but didnt want to tow the van to chillin like that.
then a mad rush back home, pick up the van & off to chillin. Got on site at 9.30, all set up & beer in hand by 9.35 No time for nerves |
