Having bought my first Shogun and 4x4 i am quite keen to learn how to use it best and understand the different gearing options? What i would really like is to go to a 4x4 centre where an instructor comes out with you and helps you understand the capabilities and limitations of the vehicle and how to use the 4x4 system properly.

Are there any near to me, i am based just outside Bristol in the South West??

Cheers

Si

hmm not a million miles away, I did my first off road driving at castle combe circuit, not a bad little course, youll end up driving a disco though, not nessecarily a bad thing as first time out, if you damage something least it aint yours  Laughing

just hope you dont go in the car with someone who likes to use the clutch mid way up the hill then turn the wheel while coming back down rather fast  Laughing , she managed to knock a fence and a tree down that day Laughing

I also saw an advert for a place in devises today, where they do bike courses, but couldnt see much of a course.  Confused

course you could always come up to foxham 4x4, but the only thing to "guide" you are the ruts and the trees  Laughing

HTH
Enjoy, such a great experience off-roading.
