Hi i new to this , have recently bought a mitsubishi shogun 1995 2.8 turbo diesel. I am loving the car but want to do some basic repeairs . I do not have an owners manual for this  car and when i went to halfords they told me the shogun is not the same as the pajero.

Question ? i cannot seem to get an owners manual for this car , however to my mind the palero and shogun look the similar if not the same , can i buy they 1995 pajero manual or is this a no go ????????

The Haynes manual is OK for general guidance, but needs to be supplemented with other stuff for the fine details - usually this website!

Don't worry too much, the differences between Pajeros and Shoguns are pretty minimal and mainly cosmetic. Most of the mechanical is identical.  Wink

They definately do one, I've seen it in Halfords, I was going to buy it, but it's gone the way of many Haynes manuals now, horrible thin recycled paper, and paperback cover. The last few I've bought have lacked the detail they used to have, and been very generic. Years ago they had good info for a mechanic as well as a diy user.

You can download the Mitsubishi workshop manuals here that someone has kindly scanned, engine, body/chassis and electrical, they don't have step by step instructions like a Haynes manual as meant for workshop use, but plenty of technical info. >>> Click Here <<<

Not a bad price either with postage included. Cheapest I can get it for in Halfords, even with a Trade Card discount is £15, so the Club price is pretty good. I've just gone off Haynes manuals lately though, as they're not like they used to be, too much copy and paste across manuals.
