Is there a more stable web browser available which is still secure, runs OK with my Norton 360 and won't bluddy crash 10 times a day?
I'm running Windows 7 64bit OS on a 3.2GHz quad core CPU with 8GB RAM so HW resources are not really an issue
I'm just fed up getting the "IE has stopped responding" message every day so I want to try something else but security is extremely important to me
Any ideas/suggestions? |

Firefox is safe and stable . I would try and find out why IE8 keeps crashing !! Usually its added toolbars that are the problem . Have you tried running it in " no-addon " mode ?. And as for Norton 360 !!!!!! dont get me going on that pile of s*@&e |

I've already removed all the toolbars and it still crashes. Usually when I close a tab
Now got Firefox 3.6 running with Norton 360 and it seems stable enough. I'll try it for a while
I've used Norton for years now and never had a problem. It stops every virus, runs in the background and manages backups
Seems everyone has a different opinion of Norton
