Hi,
Just sold 2.6 Shogun petrol and bought 2.5 TD Pajero swb much more comfortable, But can you help me the fitted Roof Bars look abit tatty and could do with a good rub down and repaint, how do I remove them? So far I have removed the back plastic cover, screw inside back door but can then see no fitting screw or bolt any help appreciated

Ed.....hi and welcome to the club
You pose an interesting question as pajero swb's dont normally come with roof bars - what year is it? - shogans are fitted with roof rails as standard so you can fit bars to them but not the pajero (bars go across the roof as opposed to rails which run back to front)..........any chance you can post a picture |

Hi Phil,
Thanks for the welcome and reply, sorry got my terminology wrong they must be Roof Rails as they run front to back on either side in a channel covered with a plastic strip. I think at sometime there must have been a box fitted marking them badly. To do a good job they need to be removed rubed down and re-painted, but how do I get them off.
She is a '92 vehicle.
Thanks Ed |
