Finally, i'm coming back to the mitsi 4x4 world. After regrettably selling my ltd edition pajero swb, i am going to collect a L200. I understand that its a little different from a paj and worse in many ways, but for me it is better in some ways too ie. its a pick up! Few questions though, mainly, is the 3.0 v6 a reliable unit? what are the belt change frequencies and any common faults?

Not to worried about the MPG, as its LPG converted (after running a 3.2 v6 omega elite on LPG, i won't go back!)

Any help would be appreciated. I'll get pics up as soon as i get it.

hi, afraid i'm not much help regarding your 3.0 v6. But have just finished breaking my pajero and have just bought a L200 5 weeks ago, and gave it a big service 2 weeks ago. And as much as i love the new truck, i am missing my Pajero. will look forward to your pics and will try and get a pic up myself

Nice looking truck! Whats it like to drive? i'm still sceptical, as my 53 plate omega is just prestine, you can't even hear the wheels turning at 70!

biggest thing takes getting use to is the steering , being a commercial truck. it's like an oil tanker to take some corners. also my pajero was a swb and this is a metre longer so no parking bay is long enough. what was left of my pajero finally went to scrappers today, sorry to see it go. overall though very happy with new truck. your red over silver is looking good, i like the rollbars behind the cab, how long until you get behind the wheel?
