Was a bit disappointed with the standard horn in my 2002 Shogun Sport. It sounded pretty pathetic for quite a big bus so I whacked on a Stebel Nautilus compact truck horn.

Not bad at all  Wink  I had a standard nautilus before, the 139Db job. I had it on my XJ Cherokee with the standard horn rigged up as well and it was LOUD. The truck one is a lot deeper but not as `ferocious`. Still, more than enough to get Mrs `I`ve just pulled out while doing my lippy` out of your way in a hurry.

 have a listen

It's one thing I hate about my Challenger too, I just assume there was something wrong with the horn on my car. How much did that set you back?

hilarious I've just kacked myself.

Was flicking between pages, the screen flashed and the sound went off very loud,
i'd turned my speakers up the missus is hoovering.

I've got the normal horns plus 2 airhorns fitted by the previous owner and it sounds great
but not as loud as the Stebels though.

How do you connect them up?

I replaced mine with a Steibel horn, but it wasn't as loud as I expected from the write-ups, but the original equipment horn was dire!

These are about £50 odd mate. But if you want my opinion get a standard nautilus horn off eblag for about £23 and rig it up with the standard horn. You have to use the relay or it`ll either A; not be as loud as it should or B; blow your fuse.
The standard nautilus will be just as loud if not louder albeit a little higher pitched. If you off road use the attachment supplied for the compressor and fit a hose up out of the way.  Wink

Laughing  Class. Basically It was easy when I got a bit of advice  Laughing  I used the original bracket that the Shogun one was on. Took a bit of faffing about to get its bulk inbehind the bumper but just managed. It comes with a relay and it must be used as without it, it sounds pants or the fuse goes. You just have to run a wire from the battery, through to the relay and then from the relay to the horn. The negative on the horn is just wired to the frame. Then you cut the two wires from one of your factory horns and wire to the relay. If you want I`ll try and bang a picture up.

Are there 1 or 2 horns on the Challenger as standard?
