Just put on a set of 4 Nexen Roadian MT's, 31.10.50 R15. £82ea fitted, not too bad.
Awesome traction after getting rid of casting wax, say 10 miles off-road, now they bite and give great grip. Fast learning that slow and gentle gives more grip than hooning through a muddy puddle!
I'm doing more in 2WD than my Navara could do with Grabber AT2's in full 4WD! |

I've got a set of Cooper Discoverer ATR 255/70 R16 tyres under my truck.
And the front ones are quite worn down on the inner side.
Anyone, know what they cost down in the UK? |

hi all
Just ordered some falken 31/1050/15 LA/ AT . off of camskill for £60 a corner. After doing some research they look like a good price with good tread pattern similar to general grabber at. Look forward to trying them out.

I put a pair of these falken LA/ATs on (from camskill) recently:

brilliant off road, brilliant on road in good to fair conditions. in fact no complaints at all ... until after three weeks of dry, it rained.
verdict: bollix in the wet - just look out if you ever feel the need to stop when its raining. |

Just fitted four new BFG 31 / 1050 / R15 A/T's on the truck.
What came off?
Four OLD BFG 31 / 1050 / R15 A/T's!
However, the difference with the new ones on is incredible - quieter, easier steering, more grip of course and less rolling resistance.
Just goes to show how you get used to something when it deteriorates over time - had the old ones on two years and they were almost completely shot.
Just in time for the snow!

just read through the entire post, and need a stupid question answering.
i want to get some new boots for the truck. i don't go offroad (not yet),so it's pretty much road only. what would be a good choice to go for, but will still keep me upright when we have snow.
judging by the mileage you boys and girls seem to get out of a set of tyres, i may invest in a good quality set.
at the moment, it's got insa turbo rangers on the back, and colway c trax on the front. this is what came on the truck when i bought her.
any advice would be appreciated. |

To be honest, I too have just read the entire post.
It seems that most folks have diferent tyres and everybody is happy with their choice.
Don't know about offroad, never been.
Onroad, I have had numerous tyres on numerous Paj.
I have BFG on mine. |

Used BlackCircles.com based on comments on this thread. That was the 1st time I have ever got tyres online and it was a plesent surprise how easy its was - all in no hassle.
4x Falken Land Air All Terrain 265/70 R15 S (110) @ £71.03 each
Used Central Tyres @ Wellingborough, Midland Road Senwick Road - I already knew them as they used to fit my Tyes on the Volvo, so they were very good as normal.
Fitted to a 2.5TD Paj LWB. I can't comment on the tyres yet as they only just went on. It does feel a heck of a lot better, but the one that came off were as bought with the car and were shot at the front. One of the rear ones gained a puncture near the sidewall so I had to do all four. To be honest I am glad I did as it looks a lot better. I have what i assume is an orginal Yokohama on the back as a spare - its in a box so its still absolutly sound.
KM is at 164500 - lets see how far they go shall we
Given the problems I have had (see other posts) it was a nice'n'easy bit of work.
Now all I have to is get the pads & disks replaced as they are a bit worn. |
Just sold on my Paj (another story) and its still had these on - good amount of tread, but starting to show UV damage so would have needed doing this year. As you can see from the dates they went a long way; low milage granted, but all weathers. |

Ordered two of these Falken 110S but as you can see from the label they are Mud / Snow tyres,
Were as I ordered two T110 (pic to follow) which are the road tyre, so getting them changed. I’ll do a write up after testing of the new tyres.

Has anyone tried the new BFG MT KM2s yet? I want to know how they compare with the old MTs and with KL71 Kumhos, mainly mileage wear, wet and dry road noise and grip- I'm sure they're great off road. Ta! |

Do i need to change the papers for the 31x10.5 (got 265/70/15 written in)?
Thanks a lot in advance!

My "Mini Mitsu", the short Pajero, is rolling on Insa Turbo Special Tracks. Size 285/75/16. Good when offroading, quite loud when onroading. Luckily there is not much onroading going on with this one |

I have run Enduro Runway tyres, 31.10.50 R15, for the last 10 years, cheap as chips, so if you rip them, c'est la vie, my only comment is that on tarmac in the wet they are a bit skittish but for all other purposes they have been excellent. Price back then was £55 each fitted and balanced but ordered a couple of spares recently and paid £78 plus £20 each freight to France obviously unfitted and unbalanced which costs €15 each. For the Pajero they are very good offroad and laning and a good wear rate. |
