Yup, it is running MUCH better now. Not quite perfect but improving as I run some injector cleaner through it. The biggest surprise to me was that even when warm it seems to run a little better with the new seal but I thought it was running well when warm before
Thanks,
Adam. |

My 94 2.8TD LWB Pajero Exceed started showing the classic signs of pump front seal failure. I called Mark and he was able to fit the job in three days later, just under two hours later, job done, seal replaced original one was indeed brittle and allowing fuel to leak past. Mark did a few tweaks to ensure the engine was running spot on. A few days later I am noticing more power, smooth engine & better fuel consumption.
Super job thanks Mark I highly reccomend him, keep him topped up with coffee, and some enjoyable banter along the way

I'd like to add yet another recommendation for Mark the mechanic.
He came from his base in Rainham, Essex to Skegness in Lincolnshire, to do a couple of repairs to my Pajero and it was such a refreshing experience to see someone who clearly enjoys his work.
He is confident, friendly, knowledgeable and sets about his job without any demands except a welcoming cup of coffee.
The job was for a replacement fuel pump seal and to dis-connect and blank off the EGR valve, which was finished in a couple of hours or so for very reasonable and affordable fee, even with the trip to Skegness taken into account.
Thank you Mark for a job well done on the date we agreed, I will certainly get in touch with you again in the future for any work that would require a mechanic to work on my Paj.
Mark, you certainly know your stuff.
You're a TOP man, cheers.
Terry. |

Having suffered the worsening symptoms of a defective injector pump seal I too spoke to the now legendary Mark3 for assistance. I was given the choice of a home visit or a run up to Marks place and within 48 hours I was parked on his front garden with the bonnet raised. Lets face it, we are not all handy on the tools and I certainly did not have the confidence to undertake this job myself. I had intended to take a stroll into Rainham but instead asked if I could watch him at work and was so glad that he had no problem with this. As others have said it is simply fascinating to watch what amounts to artistry, I kid you not, and to engage in conversation with this man. Upon removal of my ailing pump Mark immediately pointed out that the seal fitted was infact the wrong one, that one faceplate bolt was loose and that the other one was missing! Whilst reassembling he also sorted the throttle and kickdown linkages which he noticed were slack. I drove home with a smile like a cheshire cat in what felt like a different car and wholeheartedly recommend his services..... his good lady makes a lovely cup of coffee too. |

I found Mark the mobile mechanic on here. If you have a problem, then get onto this chaps web site www.mobilemechanic.org. I'am dam glad i did.
Mark came to me here in Norfolk as and when he siad he would to replace the common fault of the fuel pump seal on my Mits Pajero, Mark removed the pump, showing me the issue of the seal, replaced with a new seal and also replaced the fuel filter .
Mark is friendly fellow knows his stuff and i picked up a few tips from him as well.
My Pajero runs like a dream now, well pleased with the result. This chap knows what he is talking about and does the job well.
If you read this Mark, Thank you kindly.
Regards Tony |

Hi all i had Mark do my oil seal two years ago.
I bought another Pajero at the weekend and had Mark over again to do the seal and blank of the egr valve.
As usual his work was great and informative, not only was he quick and a bargain price but he went over the whole engine and fixed a few small jobs while he was there and told me what was loose or damaged and let me know exactly what had been done to the engine and why.
Would happily advise anyone to get Mark round for all your Pajero work, hes great at his job and lets you know as much info as he can and even shows you how to do some of the work on your own!
Many thanks Mark!!
Cheers,
Chris |

I had a deisel leak from my pump and mark came took of the pump whilst weilding spanners with the deftness of a surgeon. Replaced all the o rings and also the front pump seal as he pointed out it was the wrong one and it had started bypassing deisel to the sump. Glad of that leak now.
This is the man to trust to replace your pump seals not your local garage. A so called deisel specialist who was the ones who put the wrong front seal in 7 years ago and as poiinted out by mark that they are not really pajero specialists. With over 250 repaired pumps under his belt, he is the man to trust, period. |

I have actually been up that part of the world, been to north Wales quite a bit, Blackpool, Derby, Rochdale, Rotherham and North Yorkshire too, but Scotland is rather a long way for someone to pay for
And Ricks got a 230 mile head start |
