Luckily I don't live too far away so I won't need to pay. Not been camping on a campsite for a while so no idea of costs of a pitch but I'd have thought £5-6/night?

I know the site fees are high for this, but over the years we have always been at a loss for what to do for the kids, and without causing offence to any one, we all know that the kids at times have caused a few upsets, cos, they need something to do, they don't do fields of nothing well, to do, they need to be occupied, and this site gives all that, it is a good position for all sorts, you have the area for fun,we have full facility in the site, Rhyl 5 minutes away, major shopping a few minutes away, you have many many things next door, BIG market, you have the lanes 20 minutes away, all in all, it has been difficult for Jas to sort, many other sites simply didn't get back to him, and as we know, many of you have to book holidays now, you need to get the dates in to your employers, so, whilst it will have a major impact, lets get on with it, invite the other clubs up, lets make sure we have a programe that will give us all value for money.
Please, please book up, save some money, we know things are tight, but your getting quality facilities, and hopefully weather will be with us.

Interesting Wink

I've just copied the tarrif here and guess what Rolling Eyes

OPEN ALL YEAR
Nightly Tariffs for 2009

aadditional adult    additional child    awning/canopy     pets
LOW SEASON   £19.00           2.00                    1.00                   2.00                1.00
MID SEASON    £20.00           3.00                    1.00                   2.00                1.00
HIGH SEASON  £22.00           4.00                     2.00                  3.00                 1.00

*Pitch fee includes caravan or motorvan or trailer tent, car, 2 people and electricity.

The price per night for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids with a caravan and awning is £30 Confused

A saving of £1 on todays prices Wink

The Mega Meet is just that. "MEGA", we concentrate on making the whole weekend a family social meet so why not have a site that is all singing and dancing Confused

It is high season so prices reflect that, would you rather i change the time of the meet to October out of High season Confused
There are other alternatives, non EHU for instance, you could maybe gat a pitch for £10

Other meets go on throughout the year that are not as expensive but they cater for a smaller meet so we can look into cheaper venues Wink

HAVE you ever approached a site and asked "can I book you for our 4x4 meet, a mixture of Approx 40 tents and caravans, erect our 2 marquees , accept dogs, have stattic caravans to hire for members without tents, and allow us to have social evenings everynight" You dont get a good response from most Sad

One even wanted to see my qualifications in food hygene Shocked  Shocked

I know that at £43 the site is rather expensive, I only had confirmation on Friday that we can go there, thats why I have posted now so members can get the discount. I think at £31 a night its not bad value Wink

Last years Meet cost £26 per night and then there were add ons Rolling Eyes
