It has been brought to my attention that a number of posts regarding disputes with dealers or suppliers have been made where the dealer has not been named, but a general location provided.

Now, if you have an issue with a Pajero dealer, then these forums are an ideal location to air your views in order to alert other members of a potential problem however, please observe the following:

Firstly, it is unfair to be so vague about the dealer that all dealers in the same area end up being 'tarred with the same brush' ... A post such as 'I was ripped off by a dealer in "town X"' is a prime example, where there may be more than one Pajero dealer in that town!

Secondly, your account of the issue must be factual, which you can support with either photo's, copies of correspondence, engineers reports or receipts - the more the better, and please, NO speculation.

Hopefully, used correctly the forums will make it easy to sort out 'the wheat from the chaff', especially as the Pajero brand is increasing in popularity and there is a corresponding growth in the number of dealers ... All the good ones fully support the PoCUK!

In summary ... if you have a complaint and you publish it in the forums, I will reiterate that any views expressed therein are solely those of the author and cannot be considered to be endorsed nor supported by the Pajero Owners Club (UK). If the opinions expressed are later found to be untrue, PoCUK reserves the right to modify or delete the posts. No statements of fact, specifically relating to a complaint or recollection of a negative experience with any other company or individual, must be made unless they can be fully supported with documentary or other recorded evidence.

Simon.
