It's not a diagram, it's just a wiring schedule showing which wires to use and where you can get at them
Not sure if it covers MK1 but it's worth a try

I managed to fit mine (MK2) using the haynes diagram.

Locking relay is behind RH speaker, the first one i touched when looking for it by operating the doorlocks while touching various boxes to see which one clicks.

Negative pulsed system black wire with yellow stripe unlock, black with red stripe lock.

I found the door pin switch wire was a bŁ$%&rd to find though, had to run it all the way to the door pillar.
