I have a 3.5L Petrol Manual Pajero Soft Top which has a Gas Conversion fitted. I love the car but the roof is hanging! it’s shrunk, the zips have ripped off and the sun roof blew off when I lived by the sea. I have temporary replaced the sun roof with some black PVC material.

I have contacted most of the soft repair specialists in the UK and none of them want to attempt to make me a new one, they say that Pajero's are hard to do. I found a soft top manufacturer in Australia but it will cost me £1000 for a soft top, sun roof and postage.

I'm at a loose end. I want to either sell it for a very cheap price or find someone to fix it for me.

Can anyone help me with what I should do? Does anyone know someone that can repair it? Does anyone want to buy it and do it up themselves?

Cheers

Natalie

I looked on AutoTrader website and there are no cars like mine for sale. I would say the equivilant to mine would be the 2.5 diseal, same reg - they can sell from anything from 1500 - 2500 pound. So any one can make me an offer. The gas conversion could become quite handy especially with todays petrol prices.

Well let's see. £1500 minus £1000 for soft top, sun roof and postage. Minus a reasonable fitting fee, say £200. Yep, I reckon I can just about scrape £300 together if I don't eat this month!  Wink

Good luck with it  Smile

Hey guys,

I live in melbourne, Aus, and i can get soft tops for you guys if you want.  The cost of the Soft top and the sunroof is about $1500AUD, plus shipping... i would say @ most $150? if anyone needs help with this, let me know as i was able to find a place that does them and the quality is great.

In return, does anyone know where i can get a few parts for the soft-top? what i mean is, i need to get the two wires (metal) that run on either side of the sunroof.  They kinda keep the sunroof stretched.  i've looked everywhere, even Mitsubishi, and they don't even have a part number for it!!!!

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT!!!

Hi, I'm looking around for a soft top Shogun/Pajero and saw your old thread. Do you still own the car?

Best wishes

Ben
