Well im shocked at the messages still coming through, many thanks to the poc community for all of your support, and to those who have not been on poc for sometime but still sent well wishes,it really is a comfort that nick was loved and appreciated by so many, he really was the gent you all thought he was and lived his life to help others,he is still very much missed by us all , his family xxxx

claire, he's often in our thoughts, and our conversations. he lives on in us in a way, as well as in your hearts.

nice to hear from you. i was just thinking about your family the other day, wondering how you are all getting on. x

I still find it difficult to talk about Nick, I am seriously ashamed that I haven't been to Kath yet, I may be big, but I just bottle out, and now with this weeks news of another mate, I wonder about being involved with a wider family, but the good times are bigger than the sad times

You only have to do a search on some subject or other, and Nick is there giving advice As as long as POCUK exists, Nick will live on. The same is true for Mark. And I am sure others. My thoughts are with those left behind, especialy Kath and Dawn.

I have all 24 cans of them beers he owes you.

Unfortunately, I have had 12 for Nick, and 12 for Mark, and now I am going to have a few for myself, so, you owe me a few. Laughing

It was about this time of day, 12 months ago, I got a call from Claire, could I get to Nicks house quicker than her, Nick had passed away, it's the sort of call you dread in your own family, so, why, in POCUK is just as bad, well, we are a family here, we are a functioning, caring family who feel for every one in here.

It is a time when you just sit back, and think, why does it stun you so much, why is it that it takes a bit of your life at the same time, it's because in POCUK, we meet, we talk, we mix, we get on.

It is to my shame, and a shame I am very conscious of, that still, I haven't been to Kath, haven't been to give her the hugs she deserves.  I was just about ready for a visit, when, Ironically enough, about the same this time one morning I made a call to Dawn, to wind them both up about some thing, and she told me Mark had passed away.

That to, hit me like a sledge hammer,  we all know over the years, we must have lost many in here, we know and remember Morex4, and a few more, who, weren't so active in forum, but never the less, a member of the family.

Lets take a minute, and remember them, remember the good times, think about the sad times.
Kath, PM me your address, I know I have had it, but can't place it, and I will be there before Mike and I go off on the rally again, just as we had to last year.

Kath, Dawn, you know we care, you know, we were there for you, we all did what we could, and will in future.

Love and hugs to all family members in here who are at a time when they need hugs.

Lets build on what we have here, lets meet in Cosford this weekend, and just have a quiet moment (can you have a quiet moment with the Euro fighter above you ?)  and reflect on the past, reflect on our relationships, and be proud, that we knew people like Nick, Mark, and the many more that we are missing.
