If it is the front and rear on one side of the 'van then it will be the plug or socket that connects to the car. The usual suspect is the socket on the car so get a copy of the wiring diagram off the net for a 12N socket and test the connectors with a multi meter. They usually corrode from behind and can be difficult to repair without replacing the socket.
If these are OK then you should be able to open the plug on the caravan end to check the wiring has not come adrift. |

sounds more like an earth fault on the light cluster itself. disconnect it and use a multimeter to check if you are getting continuity between the earth wire and the cluster (one probe to the earth wire and one to the light cluster earth point) if you are not you need to trace the wiring back to the junction point where the wires for the lights seperate from the caravan plug to the individual clusters and have a poke round. if it was the car or the caravan plug it would effect both sides. |

sorry, if you have a multimeter. just take out your stop/tail bulb and check if you are getting power to the holder. if not run a temporary earth from one light cluster to the other and see if that works. if it does you know where to start looking. if you dont have a multimeter just run the temporary earth and if they work you are laughing |

Might be a bit obvious but also check your fuses inside the caravan - They're usually in a separate place to the accessory fuses (under the front seate in a Sterling Europa). |
