Then polish them with several coats of Auto Glym super resin polish, nothing sticks to them and they don't go cloudy if you do them periodically as it blocks the UV rays, and it builds up a good coating over time.

I'm on with this today! Cleaned up 1 lens and it works great! Just need some of the Auto glym to finish the job off.
They were terrible and lights were very dim due to the murky lenses.

I found mine to be like this. Polished with T-cut as suggested and they are brilliant.
Great tip.

Great tip.

If you spray them with clear lacquer (most is UV-proof) it preserves the finish and prevents future UV crazing.  Probably better than using AutoGlym, which won't last as well.

I can't vouch for every mk2 but both my swb and lwb were glass. Although i'm sure you can get plastic glass protectors for the mk2

I also changed my dull orangie side light bulbs for LED ones, and what a difference.
Get the ones with the glass ends so you get a good forward light, as they sit in a tube set into the headlamp unit which is quite far back.
They also a white light so brighter.
