hi i have a 2.8 swb opened my rear door this morning it was fine went to open it again and the handle is loose and will not operate the lock mechanism tryed it from the inside and wont open there either. but you can still hear the lock operating with the central locking from the front door lock |

Daveydw,
There is a SPRING behind the handle, it may have come off! You need to remove rear door trim and check it out, once th problem is sorted spray the spring and locks with WD40... Just had exactly the same problem, unfortunatly it was in the super market car park. For some reason the handle sticks thus stoping the lock from being unlocked.
I will try the above proceedure before I get cought short again.

what I did was, spray a load of WD into the rear lock, and onto the orange lock bit in the rear door, then get hold of the inside door look on the drivers door and paly with it for a few minutes, locking, unlocking it loads of time, seem to cure mine. |
