Hi

I brought my Delica 4 weeks ago, had it serviced all seamed ok.
But i brought a new trailer for my work tools, used it for the first time yesterday only to find that after only 6 miles back to my home my Delica smelt hot and although the trailer wieghs about 450kg.
I was also surprised how much extra effort was need to pull it from a stand still.
I have towed many things from large boats to caravans but this is my first automatic, is this normal or does it sound like there could be something wrong with the automatic transmision.
Any thoughts or ideas would be helpful.
Thanks.

that doesn't sound too good, check your gearbox oil. If it's low or dirty change it.

I pull well over a tonne with my manual.

I'd post this on the Pajero board too if I were you, there is a bigger pool of knowledge there.

Andy
