Hi,
BFG Goodrich T/A
Rated as 50/50 on/off road.
No excessive noise on motorways on my paj anyway

BFG A/Ts superb on and off road. No ecessive road noise.
I'm never fitting anything else.
(Another £1 please BFG - I wish) Wink

Course if you want to drive a 2 ton, top heavy truck like Michael Schumaker you will unstick anything!
(A fact I think some of our 3.5 petrol drivers sometimes forget).

Mine are marked LT so I guess that's Long Trail.
Exact specs for mine are BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A 31x10.50R15LT but check what exact size you need for your wheels.
They are not cheap but they are good.
Try Formula 4x4 as their prices are pretty good.http://www.formula4x4.com

Tiny... the Lt stands for "light truck " the bf longtrail is more of a road biased tyre Smile

Cheers
Geo.

Have BFG All Terrains on both my 3.5 LWB & 2.8TD SWB, they are superb and are good for 70 to 80,000 miles.

Colways are OK if your a bit short on cash, my last set of BFG's cost £452 fitted so they are not cheap but you get what you pay for in this world!.

I bought five Colway AT's by mail-order £36 each + delivery. Had them fitted, balanced etc locally - £5 per wheel. I would have liked BFG's but the wife would have gone mad when the visa bill arrived. Anyway, the performance; quiet on tarmac, similar tread pattern to BFG's gives excellent grip off road, performed very well in recent snow, minimal tread wear & most importantly they look good!

I will continue to re-shoe the Paj with Colway's Smile

Just renewed my tyres......Bridgestone Duelers HT..........my old tyres had been on the Paj for 27 months and had loads of tread left but if you looked between the treads there were cracks in the base, on a recent service the garage said that one had a split on the inner wall and they definately had side wall deterioration........had been driving with the suspension on Hard to try and counteract it..........new tyres are very positive for handling and cornering..........wont leave it so long next time before changing them Rolling Eyes

Currently got Yokohama Geolandar H/T's - came in fom Japan with them on. Good on road, OK off (as long as it's more grass than mud!).

Considering Goodyear Wrangler A/TR's as they claim less aquaplanning tendency, and some of the BFG A/T threads I've read admit this can be a prob....
