I wouldn't want to upset him that much, I hardly know him |

Cheers for the offer of help guys, the alternator bearings have gone even though i've done an alternator mod with a new one high up, the old one still has to run the vacuum pump, so electrics are redundant but it still has to rotate.
Anyone that's done an alternator swap on a 2.5 knows what a pig it is, i've decided to abandon coming along to the meet now it's just been too long a day , apologies if that's caused any problems for anyone, hope to catch up with you another time.
Have a great weekend guys |

Must say a mahoosive thank you to all those who gave up there time to make Mega Meet as special as it was. Fantastic day, eventful, funny, muddy and very moving at the same time. A brilliant evening with great company and lots of stories and meeting new faces as well as some known friends.
One thing to those who did the cooking, what did you put in the salad? I woke with a hell of a headache this morning and the only thing I can think of was the salad and, where on earth did all those empty beer cans in the boot of my car come from??
Thank you very, very much ! |

Wish I had read this early I would have met you lot down there at my beach. But then, that's probably why no one told me Instead, I spent 10 mins with the hose on my radiator and the water coming off was still mud coloured
Now she drives lovely so, hopefully that will be that and I can get her a new rad, thermostat, pump and rad cap with hoses for her birthday lol.
Thanks again. |
