Hi all,

GETTING IT UP

I was interested in the idea of hydraulic adjustable suspension as spoofed by Mystery Machine in
http://www.pocuk.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=11168

In my past life as a V Dub fan, I had seen it actually done on few Beetles.

I think the cost of a real conversion for the truck would be eye-popping Shocked , not to mention the loss of space to store batteries, hydraulic fluid tank etc., and finding someone who could engineer it.

But I thought, how about just a conventional suspension lift ?

So, does anyone know of anybody who has done this or is about to do this or knows of a company who can do this in the UK ??
I have seen Jap trucks modded, but getting the parts from The Land of the Rising Sun is both expensive and extremely difficult.
I have looked at an Oz company which does suspension parts

http://www.ironmansuspension.com

Their kit would give a small lift purely through using their uprated components.

Has any of our antipodean (Aus & NZ) friends tried their gear ??

Your comments and answers would be appreciated....... Smile

BIG ROUND ONES

Has anybody sucessfully fitted 16" wheel to their truck without the need to lift the body ?

I'd love to fit bigger wheels and not just bigger tyres...... (18" wheels would be smeg but I think a non-runner)

I know there are lots of questions there, but I've looked and not yet found many anawers, so I thought it was time to ask the great and the good out there in DELICA/PAJERO land!

Many Thanks All Very Happy
