I've just picked this up from another 4x4 forum I'm a member of... a salutary reminder of exactly how NOT to recover another vehicle!   Shocked

It is truly un-f****ing-believable!!!

There is a small amount of swearing and it's almost nine minutes long... but it is worth listening and watching, just to see how stupid some people really are!  Their blatant disregard for the safety of those around them is staggering! Shocked

Looks like the point is well missed.

NEVER try recover a vehicle using a tow hitch, they are not designed for the loads involved - these eejits are extremely lucky.

Nobody saw the pickup bed bending?
At the start of the vid, the swage line along the side of the pickup is straight and even after just a few seconds, the swage line is bent.
