Are the presures given, also for the 2.5 long wheel base paj
There's a useful 'Tyre Pressure Chart' in the 'Technical FAQ' section ...

try looking on the side wall of the tyre. The manufacturer often refers to the tyre pressure there, but not always. |

I have my pressures set at 34 all round.
Other than 6 mile round trip my journeys are motorway and towing.
No probs with 34.
Bridgestone Dulleur's.

I have a 2.5 LWB Exceed and the sticker on the inside of the drivers door and the hand book shows 2.0 bar for both 265/70x15 and 31.10x15.

Plate inside my '94 2.8 LWB says 2.0bar all around. Feels fine, tyre wear even (negligible actually!) although upped it by 0.2bar to tow and it felt better!!
The pressure on the tyre wall is a MAX pressure for the tyre at a given weight, not a recommended tyre pressure for the vehicle.

Does the pressure depend on the size of the tyre? Mine are 265/70/16 wall of the tyre quotes 65 psi, dealer told me 45 psi. This is heaps more than you guys are quoting, does 45 sound excessive?

The plate on the door pillar that states 2.0 bar is actually 2.0 kg/f (good old metric which the japs seem to love). To convert this to lb/sq ft simply times the pressures given on the door pillars by 14. |

On most Paj,s the tyre pressures are on a sticker on the driver,s door pillar. This is shown in "bars" . Mine was translated to me by a tyre fitter as 29lbs,so I always put 30 in mine. (always liked round figures!!) |
